The Town started the design for improvements within the Brickelltown area in 2009.
Sage Land Surveying provided surveying services for The Town of Truckee, UPRR, Eastern Sierra Engineering and Acumen Engineering for the development of this project. Sage Land Surveying, Inc was retained to perform Boundary Surveys, Right of Way Resolution, Base Mapping, Topographic Mapping for design, Legal descriptions for the Town of Truckee, Downtown Merchants and Union Pacific Rail Road.

Phase I included improvements on the corner of Jibboom Street and Spring Street and the north side of Donner Pass Road, Marg’s Taco Bistro. Construction was completed in Summer 2015.
Phase II includes improvements on the north and south side of Donner Pass Road from Phase I to the McIver Roundabout. Improvements include under-grounding utilities, paved parking on both sides of the street, lighting, landscaping and reconstruction of Donner Pass Road.
